Question 1

What courses does TUTAI offer?

Accepted Answer

TUTAI offers four hands-on AI courses for practitioners: AI Strategy and Implementation (6 weeks, no coding required, for non-engineering operators), AI Agents in Production (6-week intensive course on building and deploying autonomous agents), Agentic Engineering (6-week course on building software with AI agents while preserving engineering quality), and Advanced AI Solutions (6-month comprehensive program covering analytics, ML, LLMs, generative AI, and AI agents).

Question 2

Which TUTAI course is right for me?

Accepted Answer

Pick AI Strategy and Implementation if you are a founder, ops leader, PM, marketer, finance or HR professional and want to ship AI workflows at your company without coding. Pick AI Agents in Production if you are an engineer who wants a 6-week intensive course on building, deploying, and scaling autonomous agents. Pick Agentic Engineering if you write production software and want to use AI agents without lowering your engineering standards. Pick Advanced AI Solutions if you are a data analyst, data scientist, or engineer who wants the full 6-month path from analytics to production AI with a published portfolio.

Question 3

What are the prerequisites?

Accepted Answer

Prerequisites depend on the course. AI Strategy and Implementation requires no coding, only curiosity and workflows you want to improve. AI Agents in Production and Agentic Engineering assume you can write code (Python and/or TypeScript) and have shipped software before. Advanced AI Solutions recommends data analytics experience and basic Python; we cover foundations in the early modules.

Question 4

Can I take a TUTAI course while working full-time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every course is built for working professionals. The 6-week courses (AI Strategy and Implementation, AI Agents in Production, Agentic Engineering) run post-work with one to two live sessions per week. Advanced AI Solutions runs on Wednesday evenings (post-work) and Saturdays. All live sessions are recorded so you can catch up on your own time.

Question 5

When do the courses start and how long are they?

Accepted Answer

AI Strategy and Implementation starts September 25, 2026 (6 weeks). AI Agents in Production starts October 3, 2026 (6 weeks). Agentic Engineering starts September 16, 2026 (6 weeks). Advanced AI Solutions starts October 14, 2026 and runs for 6 months.

Question 6

Are the courses remote or in-person?

Accepted Answer

All TUTAI courses are delivered remotely. The 6-week courses are online (async + live sessions); Advanced AI Solutions runs as e-learning (live sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays). You can participate from anywhere with an internet connection.

Question 7

Will the sessions be recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all live sessions across every course are recorded and made available to students, so you can review lectures at your convenience or catch up on anything you missed.

Question 8

What happens if I miss a session?

Accepted Answer

All sessions are recorded. For the 6-week courses, async-first delivery means missing a live session has minimal impact. For Advanced AI Solutions, the certificate requires at least 80% attendance at live sessions.

Question 9

How much do the courses cost, and are there payment plans?

Accepted Answer

The 6-week courses (AI Strategy and Implementation, AI Agents in Production, Agentic Engineering) are €1,500 standard, with a time-limited €990 early-bird window (15 seats) and a €1,250 transition window for each cohort; the current price is always shown on the course page. Special pricing for Alumni and Company packs available. Advanced AI Solutions is €2,800 early bird (30% off the €4,000 standard price) with payment split 50% upfront and 50% at mid-course.

Question 10

Is there a refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Please refer to our Terms of Service for detailed information about our refund and cancellation policy. We recommend booking a free call with our team to discuss any concerns before enrolling.

Question 11

Who are the instructors?

Accepted Answer

All TUTAI instructors are practitioners, PhDs, CTOs, and senior data scientists who build AI in production every day. The 6-week courses are led by Luís Roque (Serial Entrepreneur & AI Executive, PhD AI @ FEUP), João Reis (Co-Founder & CTO @ Medtiles, PhD AI @ FEUP), and Luis Dias (AI Solutions Architect @ TUI, PhD AI @ FEUP). Advanced AI Solutions is taught by a panel of practitioners from organizations like Oracle, TUI, Marley Spoon, QuintoAndar, AssetFloow, Ergodic, EVDVR Sports, and Genesis Digital Solutions, plus guest masterclass leads.

Question 12

How is this different from free AI courses online?

Accepted Answer

TUTAI focuses on shipping. You graduate with a deployed artifact (a workflow, an agent, or a portfolio of projects), not just notebooks. You get peer and instructor feedback in cohorts capped at 30 seats, and instructors who actually run AI products at scale. The small cohort size ensures personalised attention.

Question 13

How is evaluation conducted?

Accepted Answer

Advanced AI Solutions has formal evaluation: Medium article submissions, GitHub publications, peer and instructor reviews, and a capstone project. The 6-week courses are project-based, you ship a real artifact (workflow, agent, or shipped code) and present it on Demo Day, but they do not have a numeric grading scheme.

Question 14

Will I get a certificate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All TUTAI courses issue a certificate of completion. Advanced AI Solutions requires at least 80% attendance, a minimum score of 10/20, and successful completion of all assignments and the capstone project. The 6-week courses issue a certificate upon completion of the final build / Demo Day.

Question 15

What is the capstone project?

Accepted Answer

In Advanced AI Solutions, the capstone is a comprehensive AI project where you apply everything learned to solve a real-world problem in your chosen domain. In the 6-week courses, the equivalent is the final build: deployed workflows (AI Strategy and Implementation), a production agent (AI Agents in Production), or a defended software artifact (Agentic Engineering).

Question 16

What tools and technologies will I learn?

Accepted Answer

AI Strategy and Implementation covers ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, OpenClaw, Custom GPTs, Claude Projects, Zapier/Make/n8n, v0/Lovable, NotebookLM. AI Agents in Production covers LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI/Claude APIs, MCP, Pinecone/Chroma, LangSmith, Docker, FastAPI. Agentic Engineering covers Claude Code, Cursor, AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, Skills, Hooks, MCP servers, Vitest/pytest. Advanced AI Solutions covers Python, BigQuery, Looker Studio, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs, Cursor, and more.

Question 17

What programming languages are used?

Accepted Answer

AI Strategy and Implementation is no-code. The other three courses are primarily Python; Agentic Engineering also involves TypeScript when relevant to the project. Advanced AI Solutions also covers SQL (BigQuery) and lightweight web development for AI-powered applications.
